Groupon Ticket Deals With Weekly Cinema

After a long holiday weekend I'm trying to catch up.  When I finally find a minute, I can't connect to the internet!  A l l   d a y   l o n g!!!!  Calls to my service provider were infuriating interesting.  How can techies answer your questions without telling you anything?!?  It was not a shining moment.  Oh, well.  I've got to make up for some lost time . . . .

If any of you have purchased movie tickets through Groupon at Weekly Cinema (that would be me, too), I have some sad news.  This is what Weekly Cinema has to say:

"The future of Weekly Cinema is under review. While this review is being performed, we are not able to process or redeem movie ticket coupons. We are working with our deal site partners to achieve a refund for the unused movie tickets and promo codes in your Weekly Cinema account in an amount of up to the price paid for each of the unused movie ticket coupons.

A Hotline phone number to provide additional information about Weekly Cinema is being set up. Please provide your Weekly Cinema email in the box below if you would like us to email you when an update is available.

Otherwise, check the site later today for further updates”

I'm really bummed about this as I have a couple of Groupons from Weekly Cinema that I haven't redeemed.

This is what Groupon says:

It looks Groupon will be reimbursing those who have these Weekly Cinema vouchers. Groupon has what's called “The Groupon Promise.” Stating, “Nothing is more important to us than treating our customers well. If you ever feel like Groupon let you down, give us a call and we’ll return your purchase – simple as that.” Our customer service is top notch and they would be happy to help your readers out. They can be reached at support@groupon.com or (877) 788-7858 (during normal business hours, central time).
