Home Depot is having a FREE workshop on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 9am – noon at all Home Depot locations. These workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12. Your child will build a School Bus Pencil Organizer similar to the one pictured above as well as receiving a kid’s sized orange apron and an achievement pin.
The Home Depot holds these FREE Kid’s Workshops the first Saturday of each month with a variety of projects. The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.
